Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as a School Psychologist
• Experience with psychoeducational and play-based assessments
• Knowledge of functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and intervention planning
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, social workers, and families
• Comfort in crisis response and participation in student support team (SST) meetings
• Ability to travel between locations as needed for private and early childhood evaluations

Role Responsibilities:

• Participate in SST meetings at Badger Elementary School (0.4 FTE), performing classroom observations, FBAs, and collaborating closely with the school social worker
• Conduct comprehensive academic assessments for special education evaluations
• Offer immediate crisis response for students and staff when required
• Provide early childhood diagnostics, focusing on ages 2-5, using play-based assessment strategies (0.2 FTE, one day weekly)
• Complete evaluations and assessments for private school students (0.4 FTE)
• Maintain thorough records and contribute to the development of student plans
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly with educational teams and families
