Key Qualifications:
- Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid and current license or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Demonstrated experience with special education evaluations and individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Strong skills in psychological assessment, crisis intervention, and behavioral consultation.
- Familiarity with legal and ethical standards in educational settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities when partnering with students, parents, and school staff.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for eligibility and program planning.
- Develop and monitor behavioral interventions and participate in the creation of IEPs.
- Provide individual and group counseling, as well as crisis management support, for students as needed.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to promote positive student outcomes.
- Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute psychological expertise to student support initiatives.
