Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact by supporting students across Pre-K through 8th grade in a close-knit academic setting. This full-day contract opportunity involves working with a manageable caseload in a district serving approximately 900 students. As a valued school psychologist, you will provide essential services, supporting both student success and overall well-being.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification for the state of New Jersey
  • Experience in K-8 educational settings preferred
  • Familiarity with special education regulations and evaluation procedures
  • Strong skills in counseling, assessment, and report writing
  • Ability to manage cases effectively and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience or interest in handling HIB (Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying) coordination is a plus

Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a caseload of approximately 45-50 students, focusing on PK-8
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations (average of 25 per year) to identify student needs
  • Provide counseling services for students, both individually and in small groups
  • Lead and organize case management, ensuring all documentation is thorough and up to date
  • Potentially coordinate efforts and initiatives around HIB prevention and response
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and monitor student plans
  • Maintain regular communication with all stakeholders to promote holistic student support

This position offers a stable, full school day schedule from 8:15 am to 3:20 pm, allowing you to build meaningful relationships within a supportive academic community.
