Your day will be dynamic and impactful, serving a caseload of about 45-50 students and participating in evaluations and intervention planning. The position spans the full school day from 8:15am to 3:20pm.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Valid New Jersey School Psychologist certification (or eligibility to obtain)
- Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Experience with PreK–8th grade student populations
- Previous work with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and psychological testing
- Strong skills in counseling and behavioral interventions
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 45-50 students
- Familiarity with HIB processes, preferred but not required
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration capabilities
Duties and essential functions:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and participate in the eligibility determination process
- Deliver individual and group counseling to support student well-being
- Oversee case management: monitor goals, maintain records, and engage with families
- Coordinate and collaborate with educators, service providers, and administration
- Participate in, or coordinate, HIB prevention and response initiatives
Embrace the chance to foster meaningful student growth in a supportive environment dedicated to educational excellence. If you are passionate about cultivating positive outcomes for students and ready to make an immediate impact, we welcome your application today!
