BCforward is currently seeking highly motivated Airframe Mechanic in Everett, WA 98203
Position Title: Airframe Mechanic
Location: Everett, WA 98203
Shift Timing: Mon Friday 40.00 Hours Per Week
Anticipated start date: 1-2 Weeks
Duration: 06 month (Potential extension)
Pay rate: $38.00
**Onsite work only**
Responsibilities:
- Remove and install line replaceable units and engine components, including associated repair work.
- Perform full engine removal and installation on aircraft as required.
- Incorporate approved modifications and inspect or evaluate engine components.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving engine and aircraft system malfunctions.
- Collect, document, and report engine-related data and findings.
- Work any shift or rotate across day, afternoon, and night shifts as needed; support 24-hour service coverage including weekends and holidays.
- Lift, hold, and carry up to 50 pounds unaided in compliance with safety procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license.
- High school diploma and 2+ years of experience in aircraft engine or aircraft mechanics.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
- United States citizenship.
Preferred Skills:
- Associate degree in a relevant discipline.
- Jet engine maintenance experience, preferably large Rolls-Royce engines.
- Experience in manufacturing or the aviation industry.
