We are seeking an experienced Buyer to plan and manage the replenishment process by purchasing materials that support production schedules. This role requires collaboration across departments to ensure effective execution of production plans through supplier negotiation, purchasing, order execution, logistics management, and data-driven decision making.
Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and recommend suppliers by researching availability, quality, and service options.
- Develop bidder lists and initiate requests for quotes and proposals.
- Evaluate supplier performance, quality, and pricing; conduct audits as needed.
- Coordinate with suppliers to schedule deliveries, resolve issues, and manage vendor performance.
- Track and expedite deliveries to prevent shortages or project delays.
- Maintain effective professional relationships with suppliers.
- Execute purchase orders and manage MRP processes.
- Perform cost and price analysis; negotiate contracts to secure best terms.
- Reconcile quotes and invoices; authorize payments and maintain purchasing records.
- Manage backorders, vendor returns, and non-conforming items.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with planners and production teams to meet delivery goals.
- Perform value-cost analysis and drive cost-reduction initiatives.
- Maintain accurate part setup data for cost, lead times, and purchasing factors.
- Assist with other duties as needed to support company objectives.
- Promote company policies and uphold standards of attendance and conduct.
- Maintain good communication and teamwork across departments.
- Provide constructive feedback and encourage suggestions.
- Support cross-training and knowledge sharing.
- Maintain confidentiality of information.
- Ensure equipment is in good working order and work areas remain clean and organized.
- Purchasing, Procurement, Purchase order, Supply chain, ERP, Process Planning, Scheduling
- Experience with MS Dynamic Business Central
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PIVOT Tables, Reporting, Data Analysis)
- Ability to interact with and utilize ERP software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work as a team player with a CAN-DO attitude
- Ability to read and write English
- 5+ years of related experience, preferably in an electronics or contract manufacturing environment, with direct purchasing/buyer experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
- APICS CPIM, CSCP, or CPM certification preferred.
- Ability to read and review engineering drawings and schematics
- Working knowledge of material properties, mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering preferred
This is an onsite position with working hours from Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm. The role operates within a dynamic, fast-paced environment, emphasizing innovation and teamwork to improve lives across various industries.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.44 - $32.00/hr.
