Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a dynamic role supporting student success through thoughtful assessment, compassionate collaboration, and expert consultation. This contract opportunity runs from September 16, 2026, to January 29, 2027, and is designed to cover an FMLA leave. With a diverse range of responsibilities across various sites—including elementary, early childhood, and private school settings—your expertise will help guide essential educational decisions.

In this position, you will:

  • Participate in Student Support Team (SST) meetings and conduct classroom observations to support Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
  • Partner with school social workers and other members of the educational team to advance student learning and well-being
  • Carry out academic evaluations for Special Education assessments, ensuring thorough, student-centered recommendations
  • Provide crisis response services as needed, demonstrating a calm and supportive presence in challenging situations
  • Complete Early Childhood (EC) Diagnostics with a play-based approach for children ages 2-5 one day per week, creating a welcoming, child-friendly environment
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments for private school students, applying best practices to a range of settings and needs

Ideal candidates will bring:

  • Current state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience in educational or assessment settings, with familiarity across elementary, early childhood, and diverse school contexts
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, especially with interdisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of special education processes, evaluation tools, and crisis intervention strategies
  • Adaptability, empathy, and an unwavering commitment to supporting student growth
