Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time contract position lets you make a significant impact across two educational sites near Dalton, MA. You will work alongside collaborative educators and help shape positive communication outcomes for young learners.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience working with elementary-aged children is highly desirable
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload across multiple sites

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy to students, focusing on individualized education plans (IEPs) and speech goals
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Collaborate with general and special education staff, as well as families, to support each student’s progress
  • Support students’ communication skills—in both academic and social settings—at both assigned locations
  • Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights on speech and language development
  • Track student progress and adjust interventions as needed throughout the academic year
