Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
This role combines hands-on production work with material handling in a fast-paced automotive environment. Production Operators focus on the assembly and disassembly of engines, performing key quality checks and using hand tools to prepare engines for shipment. Material Handlers operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move and stage engines within a warehousing and shipping facility. Both positions play an essential part in supporting engine processing and logistics for a major automotive operation.
Essential Skills
- At least 2 years of experience working in a production or warehouse environment.
- Minimum of 1 year of machine operation and/or forklift/hi-lo experience.
- Ability to operate forklifts, tugger trucks, hi-los, and cherry pickers safely and efficiently.
- Proficiency in using hand tools for assembly, disassembly, and general production tasks.
- Experience working on an assembly line in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong attention to detail for performing inspections, leak tests, and quality checks on engines and components.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting and stand for the majority of the shift.
- Comfort with repetitive tasks and consistent use of tools and equipment.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Willingness to submit to a background check.
- Willingness to submit to drug testing.
- Ownership and use of steel toe shoes or boots.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to safety and quality standards.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
