Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Certifications:
- Valid Alaska Type A Teaching Certificate required
- Endorsement in both Special Education (SPED) and Elementary Education

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student
- Adapt general education lessons and teach core subjects in inclusive and self-contained settings
- Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and families to ensure each student’s growth
- Foster a supportive, encouraging classroom climate that celebrates diverse abilities
- Track and report progress, maintaining thorough documentation
- Commit to full-time, on-site availability: 37.5 paid hours per week, Monday through Friday
