Special Education Teacher - Hilliard, OH

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Deliver meaningful educational experiences as a Special Education Teacher supporting students in a dynamic school environment near Hilliard, OH. This full-time contract role centers on high school and middle school caseloads, with potential flexibility based on your preferences. Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education licensure in Ohio
• Previous experience teaching special education at the high school or middle school level
• Strong case management and IEP development skills
• Passion for working with diverse learners and adapting instruction to meet individualized needs
• Math intervention experience is a plus, though not required
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction to a high school caseload of approximately 24 students, or a middle school caseload of about 20 students if preferred
• Design and implement IEPs, collaborating closely with students, families, and other professionals
• Assess student progress and make data-driven instructional decisions
• Provide accommodations and modifications in academic settings, with a focus on improving outcomes for students with diverse learning needs
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate in team meetings and contribute to school-wide special education initiatives
