Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) | Full-Time | 7 On / 7 Off Schedule

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) to join a hospital laboratory team in Great Bend, Kansas. This full-time role offers a unique 7-on/7-off schedule, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced clinical lab environment supporting patient care.

Schedule

• Full-Time
• 7 On / 7 Off Rotation
• 3 x 12-hour shifts (10:00 AM – 10:30 PM)
• 4 x 10-hour shifts (12:00 PM – 10:30 PM)
• Weekend and holiday rotation required
• No on-call requirement

Compensation

• $24 – $34 per hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex laboratory testing
• Analyze specimens and ensure accurate test results
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
• Follow quality control and safety procedures
• Document and report test results accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to support patient diagnosis and treatment
• Maintain compliance with laboratory standards and regulations

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of MLS (Medical Laboratory Scientist) experience
• Associate degree or equivalent military training in a related field
• ASCP, NCA, AMT, or equivalent certification (or eligibility within 6 months of hire)
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently in a clinical lab setting
