Job Description

Join our team as a Concrete Finisher where you will be responsible for executing concrete finishing tasks and supporting general labor duties. This role requires flexibility, dependability, and a willingness to handle various tasks on job sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of concrete finishing, including placing, smoothing, leveling, and sealing.
• Assist with form setting, pouring, and site preparation.
• Support general labor tasks and fill in on miscellaneous job duties as required.
• Maintain a safe and clean job site.
• Work effectively as part of a team to complete projects.

Essential Skills

• At least one year of experience in concrete finishing.
• Willingness to perform general labor and take on 'one-off' job assignments.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Must be able to travel within a 25-mile radius of the job location.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience operating equipment such as dump trucks, mini excavators, and skid steers.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Skilled with hand tools and power finishing equipment.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor outdoors.
• Reliable attendance and transportation.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.

Work Environment

Candidates in this role will primarily work in commercial or industrial environments with exposure to outdoor weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and wind. The job requires bending, kneeling, lifting heavy materials, and standing for extended periods. Collaboration with crews, supervisors, and other trades throughout the job site is essential. Use of power tools, hand tools, finishing equipment, and vibrating machinery is required. Must follow strict safety protocols, PPE requirements, and OSHA standards.

This is a Contract position based out of Indiana, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
