Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification (Ohio or eligible for reciprocity)
  • Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting assessment results
  • Knowledge of best practices in behavioral intervention, crisis response, and classroom consultation
  • Familiarity with Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic testing, analyze results, and write comprehensive psychological reports
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to address student learning and behavioral concerns
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and support the development of educational plans for students with special needs
  • Provide counseling and short-term interventions for students experiencing academic, behavioral, or social-emotional difficulties
  • Deliver in-service training and resources to staff on relevant mental health topics and preventive strategies
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records and comply with federal, state, and local regulations
