Victory Steel is seeking experienced Structural Welders with current AWS D1.1 certifications (3G & 4G) to support multiple ongoing projects. Immediate need is for work at the Urban Air facility, performing high-quality structural welding and steel installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform full-penetration (full-pen) welds in accordance with AWS D1.1 standards
• Assist with bolt-up beam installation and alignment
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and structural plans
• Ensure all welds meet required structural integrity and safety standards
• Work at heights using scissor lifts (up to ~18 feet)
• Perform mezzanine welding and installation work (~9 feet off the ground)
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Collaborate with crew members and supervisors to meet project deadlines

Requirements

• Current AWS D1.1 certification (3G & 4G REQUIRED)
• Proven experience in structural steel welding
• Ability to perform full-penetration welds
• Experience with beam installation and bolt-up work
• Comfortable working at heights and operating on lifts
• Ability to work early morning shifts (4:00 AM start)
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience on commercial or industrial job sites
• Previous work involving mezzanine systems or structural framing
• OSHA certification (a plus, not required)

Work Environment

• Construction job site environment
• Work performed on lifts and at moderate heights
• Fast-paced projects with immediate staffing needs
