Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Resource/Float Pool team in Claremont, New Hampshire. This role supports multiple departments, including Emergency Department (ER), Medical-Surgical (Med Surg), and Progressive Care Unit (PCU).

The ideal candidate is highly adaptable, clinically strong across multiple specialties, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who enjoy variety and thrive in dynamic patient care settings.

  • Night Shift
  • 12-Hour Shifts
  • 36 Hours Guaranteed Weekly
  • Every Other Weekend Required
  • No On-Call Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care across ER, Med Surg, and PCU units as needed
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing reassessments
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
  • Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes
  • Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and patient flow activities
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Support high-quality, patient-centered care throughout the organization


Requirements

  • Active New Hampshire RN License or Compact RN License
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience
  • Strong experience in Emergency Department, Med Surg, and PCU settings
  • BLS Certification (AHA)
  • ACLS Certification (AHA)
  • Willingness to float between departments as needed
  • Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing patient care needs
  • COVID-19 Vaccination Required
