Job Description
Step into a dynamic and meaningful role providing psychological services within a supportive school environment near Graham, NC. As an on-site practitioner for the 2026-2027 academic year, you’ll engage with students across various needs on a per diem, as-needed basis. Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist or Public Health Psychologist
- Experience in school settings preferred, with the capacity to handle diverse student populations
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessments, interventions, and referral processes
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, organizational, and record-keeping skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations in response to referrals
- Provide direct and consultative support to students, teachers, and staff related to learning, behavior, and mental health concerns
- Interpret assessment results and help design appropriate intervention and support plans
- Participate in problem-solving and eligibility determination meetings, as needed
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with all applicable guidelines
- Availability for services that vary in timing throughout the academic year based on fluctuating referral and testing demands
