Position: Director, Health Information Management (HIM)
Location: Salina, KS
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time (100% Onsite)
Shift: Days, Monday–Friday

Salary & Benefits

• $90,000 – $135,000/year ($42–$65/hr)

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Science or related field
• RHIT certification required
• RHIA preferred
• 5+ years management/supervisory experience
• 5+ years medical coding experience
• HIPAA knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Health Information Management department
• Oversee medical records, coding, transcription, indexing, and release of information
• Ensure coding accuracy, compliance, and regulatory standards
• Manage department policies, staff, and workflow processes
• Collaborate with hospital leadership and physicians

• 207-bed Trauma Level III hospital
