American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a day shift contract role at an acute care facility in Fountain Valley, CA, requiring 2+ years of experience and active CA licensure.
Details- Works in a Nuclear Medicine unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
- 13-week contract
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine required
- At least 1 year of experience in an acute care setting required
- At least 1 year of full-time equivalent experience in Nuclear Medicine within the past 2 years required
- Active CA license required for consideration — license required if applicable
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam (up to 3 attempts allowed)
- At least one supervisory, director, or manager reference from the past year from the relevant unit required
- A second professional reference within the past 2 years (charge nurse, co-worker, or educator accepted)
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position — check with your recruiter for details
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
- No RTO (requested time off) within the first 2 weeks of the assignment; all RTO requests must be confirmed prior to submission and cannot be changed once submitted
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler, and must be approved prior to assignment
- No blocked or self-scheduling permitted
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
