American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg position at a Critical Access Hospital, requiring at least 1 year of experience and a willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays including Christmas.
Details- Acute care Med/Surg unit in a Critical Access Hospital setting
- 18-bed unit
- Night shift schedule (7p–7a), working 3x12 or 4x12-hour shifts
- Schedule includes weekdays, some weekends, float duties, and holidays
- Floating is required
- EMR: CPSI (experience with this system is beneficial)
- Active WV RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
- Required certifications: BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Preferred certification: ACLS
- Minimum 1 year of current, relevant Med/Surg experience required
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Scrubs are not provided; wine and/or white scrubs are required
- Must be willing to work Christmas
- Blocked scheduling cannot be guaranteed, but the unit will make reasonable efforts to accommodate traveler availability
- Two manager or charge nurse references (within the past 2 years) required for consideration
- COVID vaccine status documentation required for consideration
