American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with prior circulating experience for a 13-week travel contract at a Level III Trauma Center, with on-call responsibilities and Epic proficiency required.
Details- Operating Room setting within a 104-bed, short-term acute care Level III Trauma Center
- Primary surgical services include General, Ortho, Neuro, GYN, OB (C-sections), ENT, Plastics, Vascular, and Eyes
- 1:1 patient ratio
- 8-hour variable day shifts (7:00–15:30 or 11:30–19:30), 5 days per week
- On-call required: 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend every 6 weeks
- Weekends required for on-call only
- Must be available for callback within 20 minutes when on call
- Charting via Epic
- No floating between units within this assignment
- Active WA RN license or valid compact RN license
- Minimum 2 years of OR circulating experience required
- Prior OR charge nurse experience preferred
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- Current BLS certification required
- Must provide a minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Scrubs may be any color
- No parking fee at this facility
- Travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment
- Former permanent staff of this health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Candidates who have previously worked at a Providence facility (permanent, travel, or per-diem) must disclose the location and dates of that employment
- Minimal RTO is expected for this position
