Pay rate: $120/hr.-$130/hr.
Shift: 08:00AM-04:00PM
Hours/week: 40 hr./week
Duration: 6 months to long term

Position Summary: 
Searching for a physician who is board-eligible or board-certified and is experienced in primary care to provide full-time on-site services to the male population at this facility. The schedule is weekdays - no evenings, weekends, or holidays - and is flexible based on the needs of the facility. On-call coverage is not required. The assignment may last at least 6 months and may be extended based on a good fit and mutual need. Assignment could lead to permanent hire. The selected physician will see approximately 2.5 patients/per hour. Both a video interview and an on-site meeting/tour will be required.

Physician Duties
Working collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to administer treatment for patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting utilizing an electronic health record system
Conducting exams and writing evaluations and reports
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing
Managing medication
Completing reclassifications and other reviews as indicated
Making referrals for specialized care or treatment
Performing duties in accordance with scope of practice, ODRC policies, procedures, protocols, and related American Correctional Association standards
Participating in Continuous Quality Improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviews
