Job Description:

This position involves zero hands-on patient care. The role is responsible for placing patients on the appropriate units at the hospitals assigned. It requires the use of critical thinking skills to ensure bed requests and orders are appropriate. The position relies on multiple applications and requires strong computer skills.

Responsibilities:

• Placing patients into the appropriate bed units based on requirements.
• Using critical thinking if bed requests/orders are not appropriate and communicating issues with charge or leadership.
• Working with multiple screens and applications such as TeleTrac, Cerner, and Google apps for bed placements.

Requirements:

• MUST have recent acute care experience, with experience using TeleTracking and Cerner.
• MUST be strong in computers and familiar with Zoom and Google applications.
• MUST be able to multitask and have good customer service skills.
• Required certifications: BLS Certification.
