Job Description:

The RN will be working in an acute care setting, primarily focused on trauma, ortho, and surgical cases. The unit consists of 30 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5. Responsibilities include patient care and management, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies.

Responsibilities:

• Perform assessment and evaluation of patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Utilize electronic medical records for charting and documentation.
• Maintain sterile field management and perform related procedures.

Requirements:

• Must have Level 1 Trauma experience.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and a minimum of 2 years of Telemetry experience required.
• Pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance.
• Participate and pass SIMs Lab assessments for skill competencies.
