Schedule & Requirements

• Shift: Days, 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• License Requirement: Active Virginia RN license required at submission

Required Experience

• Recent Cath Lab RN experience as a Circulator
• Experience with:
  • Right and Left Heart Catheterizations (RLHC)
  • Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI)
  • Peripheral vascular procedures
  • Electrophysiology (EP) circulating
• EPIC/CUPID Cath charting experience preferred
• Ability to respond to on-call emergencies within 30 minutes

Required Certifications

• Active Virginia RN License (in hand at submission)
• BLS (AHA)
• Additional facility-required certifications per specialty compliance

Key Responsibilities

• Provide circulating nursing care during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures.
• Monitor patient condition before, during, and after procedures.
• Administer medications and sedation per protocol.
• Maintain sterile technique and procedural documentation.
• Coordinate care with Cath Lab team members and ancillary departments.
• Respond to emergency and after-hours call cases.
• Utilize EPIC/CUPID for patient documentation and procedure tracking.
