Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg night shift position at a Level III Trauma Center in Gallatin, TN, requiring a minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience and a TN or Compact RN license

Details\n

\n
• Medical Surgical Combination unit in a 167-bed, Level III Trauma Center hospital setting
\n
• Adult and geriatric patient population
\n
• Patient ratio of 6:1
\n
• 12-bed unit
\n
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
\n
• Every other weekend required
\n
• No on-call requirements
\n
• May float to other Med/Surg units as needed
\n
• EMR: Meditech
\n
• 13-week contract
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active RN license valid in Tennessee (TN state license or Compact license) required
\n
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) — AHA-issued certifications required, must be obtained prior to start
\n
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in Med/Surg required; 2+ years preferred
\n
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
\n
• Candidates must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
\n

Additional Information\n

\n
• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
\n
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable; casual wear is not permitted
\n
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
\n
• Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
\n
• All clinical staff working in Tennessee must be cleared through the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to the assignment start date
\n
• Fully accredited by The Joint Commission
