American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Dept position in Massachusetts, requiring a permanent MA RN license and flexibility to float between two campuses.

- Work setting is an Emergency Department with a psychiatric holding area on unit \n
- Patient ratio is 1:5 \n
- Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), with 48-hour weeks accepted \n
- Schedule is based on unit needs; block schedules cannot be accommodated \n
- Shift start time flexibility required — must be available to start up to 4 hours before or after scheduled start time based on critical department need \n
- Required to float between two campuses (Leominster and Clinton) \n
- Every other weekend and holiday coverage required \n
- No on-call responsibilities \n
- Charting via Epic \n

- Active, permanent MA RN license required \n
- Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience required \n
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS \n
- Must reside more than 200 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler \n
- 2 professional references required for consideration, at least one of which must be from a Nurse Manager or higher \n
- Clean nursing license with no prior disciplinary actions \n

- Well-rounded ED nursing skills expected given varied patient population, including psych holding patients \n
- Pass/fail telemetry (EKG), and medication competency tests required at orientation \n
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply \n
- RTO in July will not be approved for more than 1-2 days \n
