Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO)

Title: Emergency Department Physician (ED MD)
Location: Polacca, AZ 86042
Duration: 12 Months to Long-Term
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 24/7 (days and nights; blocks of 5–7 consecutive shifts typical)

Job duties: 
•    Assessing patients who enter the emergency room immediately and overseeing emergency recovery.
•    Conducting follow-up visits to monitor the patient's condition.
•    Requesting the appropriate medical tests and based on them, following a treatment plan.
•    Developing effective patient care plans.
•    Referring patients to appropriate specialists.
•    Ensuring that patients are stable before transferring them to the proper department for further evaluation.
•    Providing instructions for discharge and any relevant paperwork.
•    Maintaining patients' medical records.
•    Coordinating with different ER departments to ensure patients receive the necessary treatment.

Requirements:
•    Full medical license information including any past or current disciplinary actions, license limitations, suspensions, revocations, investigations, malpractice claim history, or adverse privileging actions
•    Board certification or board eligibility documentation
•    Current BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS certificates
•    NRP and ALSO certificates if available
