American Consultants is seeking a travel Medical Technologist for a travel job in Anchorage, Alaska.

Start Date: Late September/Early October 2026
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, Days (06:00 - 16:30), Wednesday through Saturday. Guaranteed 70 hours per 2-week period. Weekend coverage includes every Saturday.
Highlights:- 13-week travel assignment at a 56-bed specialty facility featuring inpatient rehabilitation and long-term acute care services
- First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year of experience required
- Work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations in a collaborative clinical laboratory environment
- Epic charting system experience preferred
- Orientation period of 40 hours provided to ensure successful onboarding
- Block scheduling available with flexibility for approved time off requests
- Valid Alaska state license or ability to obtain (processing takes 10-12 weeks)
- ASCP, ASCP MT, or ASCP-MLT certification (either MT or MLT accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Technologist experience
- Skills required include accessioning, automated instrument use, manual differential, microscopic UA, pipetting, quality assurance, specimen collection and transport, venipuncture, and reporting test results
- Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declination not accepted)
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
- Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
