- Perform routine diagnostic radiographs as requested by medical providers.
- Ensure optimal functioning of radiology equipment and report any issues.
- Participate in continuing education to keep your skills sharp and meet licensure requirements.
- Embrace additional tasks as assigned, contributing to the team's success.
- Graduate from an accredited diagnostic imaging program.
- Medical Radiologic Technologist General Certification issued by the Texas Medical Board.
- Radiography ARRT- R.T. (R-ARRT) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Certification in Basic Life Support / First Aid / CPR.
- Experience with general office equipment and Digital Radiography (DR).
- Two year prior diagnostic imaging preferred but not required.
- Experience in Pediatrics and Geriatrics preferred.
- Produces high quality images: determines technical exposure factors, identifies and removes artifact producing objects, and utilizes shielding devices to protect the patient, self, and others.
