We are hiring experienced Maintenance Millwrights to support a high-volume industrial manufacturing facility in Shawnee, Oklahoma. This hands-on role is responsible for installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining production equipment to maximize safety, reliability, and uptime.

Ideal candidates bring strong industrial maintenance, millwright, welding, fabrication, hydraulic, and pneumatic experience. This is a physically demanding role in a hot manufacturing environment.

Schedule

Available shifts:

  • 1st Shift: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
  • 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM–7:00 AM

Mandatory alternating weekends. Overtime and extended hours may be required during plant shutdowns and emergency repairs.

What You'll Do

  • Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial production equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Rebuild and repair pumps, valves, cylinders, and related equipment.
  • Install, align, level, relocate, rig, and commission industrial machinery.
  • Perform advanced welding, cutting, grinding, torch work, and metal fabrication.
  • Fabricate replacement parts, structural supports, gaskets, and custom components from blueprints and field measurements.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, engineering drawings, and specifications.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis and recommend improvements to reduce downtime.
  • Use precision measuring tools including calipers, thread gauges, pi tapes, and tape measures.
  • Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE, fall-protection, and all plant safety procedures.
  • Safely operate forklifts, aerial lifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, hoists, jacks, and rigging equipment.
  • Document maintenance activity, inspections, repairs, and spare-parts needs in maintenance systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on industrial maintenance and welding experience.
  • Strong millwright, mechanical maintenance, and equipment-installation experience.
  • Advanced welding and metal fabrication skills, including fabrication from blueprints and engineering drawings.
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Experience rebuilding pumps, valves, cylinders, and related industrial components.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, prints, and technical drawings.
  • Experience with precision alignment, mechanical math, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
  • Ability to work safely in a physically demanding industrial environment.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in high-temperature conditions throughout the shift.
  • Ability to work assigned shifts, alternating weekends, and overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in metals, steel, heavy fabrication, welding-intensive manufacturing, automotive manufacturing, or heavy equipment.
  • Forklift, aerial lift, rigging, and equipment-moving experience.
  • Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Demonstrated employment stability in industrial maintenance, welding, fabrication, or millwright roles.
