Licensed Psychologist

Location: To’haali Community School, Newcomb/Toadlena, NMSummary:

Provide in-person psychological and counseling services to identified or referred special education students. Services include evaluations, counseling, treatment planning, IEP participation, consultation with school staff, parent communication, and required documentation. Work must comply with BIE policies, IDEA requirements, and student privacy rules.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct student observations, screenings, evaluations, and counseling services.
• Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Prepare service notes, reports, attendance records, and other documentation.
• Consult with teachers, parents, school staff, and related-service providers.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect student information.
• Provide services in a culturally responsive manner.

Requirements:

• Current New Mexico psychologist/counseling license or certification.
• Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
• School-based or special education experience preferred.
• Ability to pass required background investigation.
• Ability to provide in-person services at To’haali Community School.
