Key Responsibilities:

- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods within designated local routes

- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securement

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance

- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation

- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate deliveries

- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies

- Report any vehicle issues or accidents promptly to management

Skills and Qualifications:

- Valid Class A or B CDL license with a clean driving record

- Proven experience as a CDL driver, preferably in a local delivery setting

- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations

- Excellent time management and organizational skills

- Ability to operate and maintain commercial vehicles responsibly

- Good communication and customer service skills

- Physical ability to load, unload, and handle cargo as needed
