STICK-MIG PIPE WELDER/DAY SHIFT/$27+DOE

Position: SMAW/GMAW – Welder

Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced SMAW/GMAW Welder with the ability to produce RT-acceptable welds on pipe. The ideal candidate will be skilled in both SMAW and GMAW processes, able to interpret blueprints accurately, and capable of passing a 6G and branch weld test. This position requires precision, consistency, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:
• Perform SMAW and GMAW welding processes on pipe and structural components
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and project documentation
• Produce RT-acceptable welds that meet code and inspection requirements
• Perform 6G and branch weld tests on 12"-on-12" minimum diameter pipe
• Inspect and verify weld quality during and after production
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper setup and calibration
• Follow all safety and quality control standards

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a SMAW/GMAW pipe welder in an industrial or fabrication setting
• Ability to pass a 6G and branch test (12"-on-12" minimum diameter)
• Strong understanding of welding procedures, codes, and safety requirements
• Ability to read and follow detailed blueprints and weld maps
• Commitment to producing consistent, high-quality welds

Schedule:
• Week Day Shift – Monday – Thursday 6:00am–4:30pm
• Weekend Shift – Friday – Sunday 5:30am–6:30pm

Pay: $27–$30 per hour, depending on experience
