Position Overview

Trusted Medical is seeking licensed Audiologists to conduct Compensation & Pension (C&P) examinations and disability evaluations for Veterans. This role focuses on gathering and documenting clinical evidence through medical record reviews, Veteran interviews, and face-to-face audiological examinations.

The Audiologist will assess hearing-related conditions and provide detailed examination findings and medical opinions to support the VA disability claims process. This is a non-treatment role with no ongoing patient care responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive audiological examinations for Veterans.
  • Administer and interpret diagnostic audiometric testing.
  • Review military and medical records to evaluate claimed conditions.
  • Prepare accurate and timely documentation and examination reports.
  • Develop medical opinions regarding the relationship between audiological conditions and military service when required.
  • Maintain audiological equipment and ensure proper calibration and functionality.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and administrative staff as needed.
  • Adhere to all applicable federal, state, VA, and company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and professional standards at all times.
Required Qualifications
  • Doctor of Audiology (AuD), Master of Audiology (MA), or Master of Science in Audiology (MS).
  • Current, active, and unrestricted Audiologist license in the state where services are performed.
  • Board Certification through the American Board of Audiology (ABA).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain high-quality documentation standards.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of one (1) year of clinical Audiology experience.
  • Experience conducting Compensation & Pension (C&P) examinations.
  • Experience working with Veterans or military populations.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Technical Skills
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR/EMR) systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Schedule
  • Monday through Friday
  • Flexible scheduling available
  • 4-hour, 8-hour, and 10-hour shifts available
  • No weekends
  • No federal holidays
Required Health Screening
  • Current TB screening (within the last 12 months)
  • Hepatitis B titer documentation (within the last 12 months)

  • Varicella titers
  • Tdap immunization
  • Seasonal influenza vaccination
