Shipping & Logistics Clerk – Immediate Openings (4 Positions)

Location: South Metro, MN

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Status: Contract-to-Hire

Start Date: Immediate Openings Available

We are seeking 4 Shipping & Logistics Clerks to join a busy and growing logistics operation in the South Metro. This facility supports two primary divisions: a large building materials distribution center and a specialized fulfillment area servicing major retailers including Ace Hardware, Tractor Supply, Menards, and Home Depot.

Available Shifts

• 1st Shift (2 Openings): 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift (1 Opening): 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• 3rd Shift (1 Opening): 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Shipping Clerk Responsibilities

• Process inbound and outbound shipments accurately and efficiently
• Prepare shipping documentation, labels, bills of lading, and manifests
• Coordinate daily shipments with carriers and warehouse teams
• Verify inventory, order accuracy, and shipment contents
• Utilize shipping software and ERP systems to manage logistics transactions
• Schedule freight pickups and communicate shipment updates
• Maintain shipping records and ensure compliance with company procedures
• Load, unload, move, and stage products throughout the warehouse
• Support inventory control and cycle counting activities
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications

• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience preferred
• Experience with StarShip, UPS, FedEx, or other shipping platforms is highly desired
• ERP system experience is a plus
• Forklift experience is required (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, order picker, or other powered industrial equipment)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems
