Shop Pipe Welder Fabricator

We are seeking experienced Shop Pipe Welders/Fabricators for a growing commercial mechanical contractor in Round Rock, Tx. This position is based in a fabrication shop and involves building carbon steel and galvanized piping systems ranging from 2" to 12" diameter for construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and weld carbon steel and galvanized pipe assembles
• Read and interpret blueprints, spool sheets and isometric drawings
• Measure, cut, bevel, fit and assemble piping systems
• Perform TIG, MIG and Flux core welding
• Operate shop-equipment and maintain a safe work environment
• Ensure all work needs quality and production standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of pipe welding and fabrication experience
• Experience with carbon steel
• Proficient with TIG, MIG, and Flux Core welding procedures
