IMKO is currently hiring a Welder that is familiar with all types of materials, components, and products. MIG and Tig welds are the most used with this client. With this client most welds are done in shop, some travel home nightly. Travel is within a 50-mile range. Welders with shop experience or classroom experience are encouraged to apply.
Requirements of the Welder
  1. Highschool Diploma / Equivalent
  2. MIG / TIG Welds
  3. Collecting equipment and materials based on production requirements
  4. Fabricates components by using equipment to clean, prepare, cut, burn and weld pieces.
  5. Use measuring tools
  6. Determine Welding technique
  7. Document appropriately
  8. Maintains a safe work area and upkeeps machines
  9. Read blueprints
  10. Use grinders and buffers to clean up a weld
  11. Operate forklifts and other materials to and from welding area
Benefits of the Welder
  1. Hours will be Mon – Fri 8 am - 4:30 pm
  2. Starting pay: $20 + DOE
