Job Summary

MEMCO Staffing is currently seeking experienced Pipe Welders with 6G certification for an active construction project in Cuero, TX. Candidates must have experience welding Schedule 40 black iron pipe in both uphill and downhill positions. This position offers prevailing wage pay and the opportunity to work on a long-term infrastructure project.

Responsibilities

• Perform 6G pipe welding in uphill and downhill positions
• Weld Schedule 40 black iron pipe according to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings
• Ensure weld integrity and compliance with quality standards
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Follow OSHA and project safety requirements

Requirements

• Proven 6G pipe welding experience (uphill and downhill required)
• Experience welding Schedule 40 black iron pipe
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass project-required screenings
• OSHA certification preferred but not required
• MUST pass background and drug screening
