MIG Welder

Metro Services is seeking to immediately fill a MIG Welder position for a manufacturing client in Winchester, TN. This is a Temp/Contract job. Apply now!

• Perform MIG welding on metal parts and assemblies
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and accuracy
• Grind, clean, and prepare materials before and after welding
• Measure and verify dimensions using hand tools and gauges
• Follow production schedules and quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Assist with other fabrication and production duties as assigned

$20.00/hour

Monday – Thursday

5:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Some overtime may be required on Friday and Saturday

• Previous MIG welding experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Knowledge of welding equipment and fabrication processes
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to use measuring tools and inspection equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
