Compensation:

$20 - $24 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Assist licensed Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants in implementing treatment plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Prepare treatment areas and equipment, ensuring a clean and organized environment that promotes safety and efficiency.
  • Guide patients through prescribed exercises, offering encouragement and support to boost their confidence and progress.
  • Communicate effectively with patients in both English and Spanish, ensuring clarity and understanding of instructions and feedback.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, providing valuable insights to the therapy team to tailor future sessions.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all healthcare regulations, fostering trust and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with the therapy team to develop and refine patient care strategies, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in assisting licensed Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants in a clinical setting.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish, ensuring clear and supportive interactions with patients.
  • Ability to guide patients through prescribed exercises with encouragement and support, enhancing their confidence and progress.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to healthcare regulations, fostering trust and professionalism.
