Job Description
Class A & B Welders
- Class A Welder
**Products: Waste heat recovery equipment designed and built to ASME Code: waste heat and process gas boilers (firetube boilers, watertube boilers), steam drums, economizers, superheaters, Pressure Vessels
Requirements
• Read, interpret, and understand drawings and welding procedure requirements.
• Perform basic and advanced math functions.
• Ability to Layout, Cut, Fit and Tack pressure and non-pressure parts. Including but not limited to cylinders, nozzles, tubes, tubesheets, headers, structural components,
• Utilize leveling equipment to ensure orientation accuracy.
• Experience in Flux Core (FCAW), Stick (SMAW), and Tig (GTAW).
• Submerged arc welding a plus but not required.
• Weld in all positions (Flat, Horizontal, Vertical, Overhead).
• Must be able to Pass X-rays and other Non-Destructive testing methods.
• Variety of ferrous and non-ferrous materials: Carbon, Stainless, Chrome, and Nickel Alloys.
• Proficient using Carbon arc gouge and cutting torch.
• All work must meet ASME Code, Company and Client Requirements.
• Perform other shop labor tasks as needed.
• 5 Plus years of experience in a manufacturing setting required.**
Class B Welder

• Variety of ferrous and non-ferrous materials, Carbon, Stainless, Chrome and Nickel alloys.
