About This Role

PACH seeks an individual to support practitioners with Childcare Registry, identifying their professional development goals and Health and Safety training requirements.



What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answers calls from practitioners regarding the Childcare Registry program and reviews Registry applications for completeness.
  • Provides technical assistance to practitioners on Registry forms and assesses applications under the direction of Registry Specialists.
  • Counsels practitioners on training opportunities and professional development programs to enhance work performance and support career goals.
  • Performs outreach duties promoting and informing the public and practitioners of the Childcare Registry.
  • Provides guidance to field staff on DHS annual Health & Safety requirements.
  • Assists in program marketing and gathers data for statistical reports.
  • Performs other duties as necessary.


Requirements

Mental, Physical and Communication Demands:

  • Must be able to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of people, requiring excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be organized and able to pay close attention to detail.
  • Requires relating to people in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Must be able to work independently and closely in a team.
  • While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand and kneel.
  • Must occasionally lift/or move more than 50 pound

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of customer service and oral and written communication skills is required.
  • Requires proficiency in computer & typing skills.
  • Previous experience interacting in a multi-cultural community.
  • Knowledge of CDA process
  • Knowledge of State’s child care licensing requirements is preferred.
  • Knowledge of community child care issues and resources is preferred.

Education/Experience:

  • Experience working in the early childhood field is preferred.
  • Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
