Tig Welder- Sign on Bonus $1000 - 2nd Shift

We are looking for a TIG Welder to join our team in Allentown, PA. This role supports the Welding Department and is 100% in-office.

2nd Shift: 3:30pm -12:00am

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up welding equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements.
• Fit and TIG weld stainless steel components based on the specifications of the blueprints and/or drawings.
• Ensure work conforms to print and quality requirements.
• Follow production plans and required daily output requirements.
• Assists with material cutting and preparation as needed. Including sawing, grinding, and deburring.
• Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.
• Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
• Follow all safety rules and quality standards.
• Work together with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• NO CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED
• Training through a certified training facility is a plus.
• Experience with stainless steel TIG welding preferred.
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds independently.
• must be able to stand, kneel, stoop.
• Ability to identify and measure material types and thicknesses.
• Ability to produce quality products consistently.
• Ability to follow instructions given both verbally and in written form.
• Must be reliable with a strong work ethic.

The position is full-time; Monday-Friday. night Shift, 3:30 pm to 12:00 am with some overtime required on an as-needed basis.- Sign on Bonus $1000
