Job Description
Job Objective/ Summary: The Business Office Manager is responsible for managing resident accounts, admissions financial processes, Medicaid applications and renewals, Medicare and managed cared billing, revenue collection, and resident trust accounts. The Business Office Manager ensures accurate billing, payment processing, account follow up, benefit verification, and financial documentation while maintain compliance with regulatory requirements. The Business Office Manager is the primary financial liaison for residents, families, referral sources, and healthcare partners. Exceptional customer service and timely communication is crucial. A commitment to supporting organizational financial goals through efficient account management, accurate reporting, and proactive resolution of outstanding balances.
Job Education, Licenses/Certifications, Knowledge & Experience: A High School Diploma or equivalent required. Long Term Care Business Office experience preferred. Familiarity with the Business Office requirements of Federal and OLTC regulations. Familiarity with Long Term Care Medicaid qualifications and guidelines preferred.
