What you’ll do- Set up, fixture, build tools, and run CNC operations for turning plus 3- and 5-axis vertical and horizontal milling.
- Produce parts to spec based on drawings, BOMs, and work instructions while following all safety procedures.
- Execute to the Quality Management System: procedures, work instructions, and forms.
- Follow process routings, conduct in-process/final inspections, and record results legibly.
- Perform daily preventive maintenance and maintain a clean, organized workstation.
- Precision CNC machining experience across metals, alloys, plastics, and composites.
- Milling: 3-axis required; 3+2, 4-axis horizontal, and 5-axis preferred.
- Turning: exposure to mill-turn preferred.
- Apprenticeship or associate’s degree preferred (not required).
- Fluency in drawings, BOMs, and work aids; strong shop math (algebra, geometry, decimals, fractions, measurement tools).
