MIG / ARC Welder: Rockford, Illinois
Our customer in Rockford, Illinois, is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting MIG / ARC Welders to work full-time on 1st shift. As a MIG / ARC Welder, you will be responsible for performing welding duties while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities of the MIG / ARC Welder:
- Perform welding tasks using MIG and ARC welding processes.
- Read and follow work instructions and job orders.
- Set up and operate welding equipment.
- Inspect finished work to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Clean and prepare materials before and after welding
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and work instructions.
- Operate fabrication tools including saws, shears, brakes, grinders, torch, and plasma cutting equipment.
- Assist with moving materials using forklifts or overhead cranes as needed.
MIG / ARC Welder Requirements and Qualifications:
- Prior welding experience preferred.
- Knowledge of welding processes such as MIG and ARC required.
- Ability to operate fabrication tools and equipment.
- Experience with heavy machinery such as forklifts or overhead cranes preferred.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Pay for MIG / ARC Welder: $20.00–$25.00/hour.

Schedule: Monday – Friday from 6:00am – 2:30pm. Overtime may include 10-hour shifts (6:00am – 4:30pm) and occasional Saturdays.
