Make Complex Machines Run Right
This is a hands-on role for a technician who thrives on solving tough problems across mixed fleets—cranes, semis, forklifts, manlifts, and other industrial equipment. You’ll keep operations safe, reliable, and on schedule through precise troubleshooting and disciplined maintenance.
Schedule & Pay- Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Overtime May Be Required
- Pay: $22 – $26 per hour (DOE)
- Pinpoint faults and repair heavy equipment, semi-trucks, over-the-road cranes, forklifts, manlifts, and related vehicles
- Execute preventive maintenance programs and safety inspections
- Remove, tear down, repair, and reinstall engines, transmissions, differentials, pumps, and hydraulic assemblies
- Service and replace bearings, valves, gears, starters, and braking components
- Diagnose electrical and ignition issues; verify with diagnostic scanners and meters
- Perform brake service, suspension repair, and front-end alignments
- Maintain a clean, orderly bay and uphold all safety and PPE standards
- Experience maintaining or repairing heavy equipment, semis, cranes, or industrial vehicles
- Expertise in diesel, hydraulic, and core mechanical systems troubleshooting
- Hands-on skill with diagnostic tools, scanners, and service software
- Ability to interpret service manuals, schematics, and technical documentation
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in demanding environments
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- OSHA-10
- Brake Certification
- Forklift Certification
- AC Certification
- Background in crane or heavy equipment repair (strongly preferred)
- Heavy equipment repair and service discipline
- Mechanical troubleshooting methodology
- Planned and corrective maintenance execution
- Diesel and heavy equipment powertrain systems
- Hydraulic circuits, pumps, and actuators
- Diagnostic scanning, test equipment, and fault analysis
- Crane and lifting equipment systems
- Aerial/manlift and utility equipment systems
- Comprehensive equipment maintenance and repair
