Role snapshot — 2nd Shift

• Schedule: 5-day workweek, 8-hour shifts, 2:15 p.m.–10:45 p.m.
• Industry focus: Aerospace and aviation components.
• Impact: Prepare parts so coatings adhere and protect as designed.

Core responsibilities

• Precisely mask parts for paint using blueprints, travelers, and work instructions.
• Generate masking templates from .dxf files and cut on a Cricut (training provided).
• Stage, load, and unload parts in paint booths and on drying racks.
• Clean and prepare parts before painting; perform post-paint cleanup and prep as needed.
• Place products for next steps—processing, inspection, or wrapping.
• Verify conformance to quality standards through careful inspection.
• Start and operate paint-related equipment; assist other operators when required.
• Keep your work area and paint equipment clean and orderly.
• Follow all procedures for safe storage and material handling.

What you need to succeed

• High school diploma or GED.
• Inspection competence and high attention to detail.
• Basic math proficiency.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Integrity and a commitment to safety.
