Job Description

Hiring Area: Baltimore, MD
Home Time: Every other weekend with a full 48-hour reset
Freight: Mostly no-touch OTR dry van freight
Weekly Pay: $1,300–$1,450
Automatic trucks | Consistent miles | Paid orientation

Drivers on this CDL-A truck driver position run established interstate freight lanes that are designed to keep trucks moving week after week. This operation focuses on maintaining steady mileage through planned dispatch and consistent customer freight rather than constantly shifting routes and schedules. Drivers who prefer dependable freight and a straightforward over-the-road operation often find this account to be a good fit.

Most loads average between 700 and 750 miles, helping support reliable weekly earnings while reducing the number of short runs that can interrupt productivity. Dispatch works to keep future loads lined up in advance whenever possible so drivers can focus on driving instead of waiting for the next assignment.

Equipment

Drivers operate 2021 and newer Freightliner and Kenworth tractors equipped with automatic transmissions. Many trucks include APUs, power inverters, and refrigerator space to improve comfort during longer trips. Equipment is supported by a company maintenance network designed to reduce downtime and keep drivers moving.

Freight Information

Freight consists primarily of dry van shipments moving through established multi-state lanes. Drivers handle a mix of drop-and-hook and live load freight, with the majority of loads being no-touch. Consistent customer freight helps create stable miles throughout the year.

• Mostly no-touch dry van freight
• Average haul lengths of 700–750 miles
• Consistent interstate freight network
• Rider and pet program available

Pay & Benefits

Drivers on this account typically earn between $1,300 and $1,450 per week depending on experience, miles, and freight flow. Detention pay is available for qualifying delays. After six months, drivers become eligible for medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan.

Home Time

This fleet operates on a 12-day running schedule followed by a full 48-hour reset at home every other weekend. Approved drivers may take assigned equipment home during resets or park at a designated company location.
